[Identified] Version 87 of Firefox has introduced a bug where only the first 25% of audio recordings are captured. If you record a minute-long comment, only the first 15 seconds will actually be saved. We are investigating whether we can work around this on our end, but we have not yet found a way. We are reporting the bug to Firefox and will update here when the bug report is public. If you have not yet updated to version 87 of Firefox, consider waiting until this issue is resolved. If you have already updated, you will need to use Google Chrome, the latest version of Microsoft Edge, or the latest version of Safari to record.

[Monitoring] We have submitted this bug to Firefox. Report is available here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1701761 Additionally, we have tested with version 88 and version 89 of Firefox using their Beta and Nightly apps respectively, and this issue appears to be resolved in both. If you do not want to wait until version 88 of Firefox is released to the public, you can download their beta app to get it more quickly. Just note that beta applications are not stable, and there could be other issues.

[Monitoring] This Firefox bug has been confirmed fixed in version 88: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1701761 Version 88 of Firefox is slated for release on April 20. Unless that timeline changes, please continue to use an alternative browser or download the beta version of Firefox until then. The beta application is version 88.

[Resolved] Version 88 of Firefox has been released today, and it has resolved the truncated audio issue as expected. Please update to version 88 as quickly as possible. Instructions are available here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-release Thank you for bearing with us through this unexpected browser malfunction!
